Anitha Sharma

My name is Anitha Sharma and I was born in Yonkers, New York, on Christmas Day in 2001. I love to read and write stories, play the flute, travel, and volunteer. I enjoy seeing smiles on people's faces when I volunteer. I was inspired to write during my early days at school while reading other books. As a middle school kid, I loved to read books and create scenarios in my head that would later become my stories. I blend my real life experiences and incidents into my fictional works. I started writing short stories initially, and by age fourteen, I wrote a chapter book, which I kept as a secret. Hence, it remained unpublished for a few years before I decided to reveal its existence. A few years later, I published a new adventure story called "True Genius." I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University, Indianapolis.
